At the end of a tough week,

I want to share a hand with you, which I found particularly tough to play. It doesn't end with a bad beat, it doesn't knock me out, but I would be interested in your thoughts

It's the second level of the Gutshot main event, blinds 50-100

I have 9,000 Chips having started at 8k, in the BB

The button has 6,500

A loose, aggressive player in the SB has 7,000 Chips. He is an American player I am familiar with, and has already advertised pre flop raises with sh*te, and post flop bets with zilch

I have  asp

the button limps, the SB completes, I check (OK, another time I might raise, c'est la vie)

the flop is

  two hearts

the SB and I check, as does the button

the turn comes the  three clubs

giving me the nut straight

the SB bets 150 into the pot of 300

I raise to 500, interested in getting a flush draw to pass and finding out some information, button passes

Here's where it gets interesting, immediately the SB raises me to 2000, so I found out, but what do I put him on?

I dwell (legitimately). I'll leave my thought process to later, but I call (Agree? Raise?) I think I'm ahead of a 4 and on a blank final card  (no heart, no low card) I want him to lead out to me

The river is the

He immediately bets 1,500

I am being asked to call 1,500 into a 5,800 pot, as I ask the dealer to count the pot (just to get mateyboys's reaction to me working out the odds he is giving me) he smiles and quickly stops when he sees I've noticed (we are seats 10 and 1...1 is me, either side of dealer)

Your thoughts here?

Cheers everyone

Very tough, but with the player in question being in the small blind he could have  42 , 22 , 56, 43 so there are plenty of hands you are losing to. He immediately bets out on the river, seems like the 5 on the river didn't matter much to him, i would fold.

Also on the turn you didn't have the nut straight, 65 is the nut straight.

If he rasies pre flop its easier to put him on a hand but u just don't know 65s why not lets see a flop, the 5 on the river would make me fold u still have chips hes gambler i would pick a better spot.

The bet on the end is begging to be called I think. I would be less scared by an all in here.

What happened? I think after the river you are definately behind.
