1. is it rebuy mania?
2. is it a good standard of play?
3. does it get a good prize pool?

The standard is SHOCKING, lowest standard i have seen in a casino.
Rebuys there are pretty tight, but you will get a few muppets, i think last GP sat there 1 guy took 5 rebuys.
Its a GP sat so prize pool is irrelevant.

The standard at the last qualifier was truly shocking. There will be a lot more faces there tonight looking to win their seats as word travels quick in the poker world. Bolton will tonight have the best lineup it has ever had as everyone sees it as a place to get a soft seat. 2 examples of play from last qualifier. 6 limpers so I limp on button with Q3s. Flop A25 with ace of s. checked allround. Turn K s again checked allround. River  and BB bets- called in 2 spots and I raise (overbet it to be honest). Get called by AQ. 6 limpers again (anyone see a pattern here?) I have A4 on bb. flop AA4. bet and called in 3 slots. turn 2 bet and called in 2 slots. river T bet and get raised - I just call to be proudly shown JT lol. |

That was Ali Mallu, we got it all in pre flop in a cash game, my KK his AQ and the A dropped on the end.
The comps are mad, like ariston said, first night i played there it was all limp action pre flop, so i limped T9os pre flop knowing i wouldnt get raised, 9 of us see the flop.......
78J rainbow, i lead out 5 calls, turn rag i lead out again for half my stack, 4 calls, river another blank i move in, 2 calls. I show the nuts, 1 flips over K7 and declares "how can i get away from that?"
Can they be worse?

Never have so many funny things happened!
Picture the scene as Davey 'flings' himself onto taxi seat to find its broken and the metal support for the back is sticking out, which he lands str8 on!!!
Taxi driver thought he was going to be sued, i thought we were going str8 to the hospital then davey utters the immortal words...."fuck i think i have broken my ass" followed with my laughter!
