I thought it was Danny De Vito's character in LA Confidential as he was being interrogated by the bent cop... but just watched the scene and it wasn't

House of Games, written and directed by David Mamet. It's the Joe Mantegna character as he's being shot by the woman he's conned. Great film.

No - can't be this film. "Bingo" is about a runaway circus dog who wears sunglasses. I doubt there were shootings or beatings in that..................
