It just goes on and on, over a mile long and it consists of 800 buildings with 8,886 rooms and covers 720,000 square metres.

As you walk through the place, you can have a portable tape player as a guide talking you through what you are seeing.  Who does the narration for English speakers?  None other than Roger Moore.  Marvellous!

I must say, that does look a bit tidy. The sort of pad I imagine bolt lives in somehow.

the similarities between the stairs leading up to the palace and the stairwell leading up to my block of flats is remarkable
