Tell me if im mistaken here, but don't 47 out of the 48 teams in this years UEFA Cup get knocked out?

Wouldn't say it was nearly impossible....more like highly Probable!

Despondent Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate has compared his side's plight to that of his former club Leeds, who dropped out of the top flight in 2004.

Woodgate felt Thursday's error-prone Uefa Cup loss by Udinese encapsulated Spurs' woeful start to the season.

The 2-0 defeat left him admitting the players had to "take responsibility".

Woodgate told BBC Sport: "People say we are too good to go down but we aren't. I've seen it happen at Leeds and they had a better team than we do here."

Martin Jol must feel really sorry for his former employers,or maybe he hasnt thought about them at all as he`s too busy keeping Hamburg top of the Bundesliga.

"David Blaine was gutted to hear that his record of 48 days in the box doing absolutely nothing has been broken by Darren Bent."

"Darren Bent is ill, so Juande Ramos offers to do his shopping for him. While in Sainsbury's he bumps into Arsene Wenger. 'What are you doing in here, Juande?' asks Wenger. 'Getting a bag of potatoes for Darren Bent,' he replies. 'Sounds like a good swap to me,' says Wenger."

All of the next UEFA cup fixtures have been postponed pending an investigation. Interpol have been alerted after some very irregular betting patterns.

Someone put a fiver on Spurs!
