No one criticised the buyer's character.  We all advised Sofa to be cautious in case the buyer wasn't genuine.  Hardly a character assassination - especially as we don't even know who the character is in the first place.

How can you say that it is a scam and not question the integrity of the buyer? surely the two go hand in hand?

as a fan of over 25 years the leathered skin of abuse received in the playground is able to deflect the crabbiness of losing which happens on an all too regular basis.

like i said in my original post on the first thread i just believe that its sad to think that peoples perceptions of others has changed so much in recent time. Ok so maybe i'm not going to go on about what it was like back in Tikay's day where everyone left their front doors open for any tom dick or harry to wander in but soon we are going to live in a world where we all have our own little bunkers and we never venture anywhere because we dont trust anyone.

i believe it was byron who said in a recent posts of red-dog's that when we were kids we used to go to the park as kids of 7 or 8 and play without adult supervision, now most parents dont let their kids out past their own front door step.

The trust factor in society nowadays has virtually all but disappeared, if a stranger says hello in the street to you now your first thought is that they are going to mug you and now as a stranger you daren't say hello to anyone in case they have you arrested for harrasment!!

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
