Congrats and much  ........I watched the entire final table and there was never a doubt in my mind that you would win it......but, I have a few questions:

1) Looking back do you think you played different in this event.......

2) Was running good a major part, or did it just help!

3) It seems that you were willing to play smaller pots, wait for others to make mistakes....do u agree w/ this?

4) You didn't seem to be the "table captain"....you really chipped away at people.....is this a change in your game...its been a while since we have played a comp togethere but I really liked the way you played position and controlled the pot size!

5) What mistakes did u make in the comp?

6) How have you dealt w/ slumps in the past while playing in MTT's ? How do u improve your game?

P.S.  I am off to Vegas for 2 weeks...I hope I am inspired to play great poker the way u did in Baden!!!!!

I'd force the win if I were you Adam, it would ruin Julian's week for sure...  Grin

hey rookie,
long time see, hope ur well & that everything is as it should be.
here are some quick answers
1. yeah i think my game has evolved & the past 2 or 3 months have seen me on an optimal game plan...solid with just a little more aggression than most & the biggest asset is prob not backing down when a big pot looms, sticking to my guns & hopefully getting the last raise in.
this works best for me on a relatively passive table, i think i struggle more when there are 1 or 2 pressuring players on the table.
2. yeah i've been running good, instincts spot on for the most part, a def help...breeds confidence too.
3/4. & yeah my main gear is solid, no more move, move, move plays. good, friendly table image, get most on your side, quietly captain it i guess.
i like small pot & it's the biggest tip i picked up off dave colclough
5. yeah i gaffed in a few pots, but o/all played a fairly safe game & picked my spots well...felt crushed after doing 4k on the 2nd hand v barry greenstein, but steadied the ship & rocked up for 2 levels before lucking out w qq v kk to get back.
6. played thru slumps, big sample size i guess helps. started watching sum cardrunner stuff over the summer, big help!
