Heating packed up on Xmas day and it's a bit nippy here!

Got a condensing central heating boiler and all lights out, must be a lack of power getting into boiler, problem is it's wired somewhere else, think it's next to the megaflow unvented mains pressure cylinder upstairs which is working ok...so at least we got hot water.. Everything else working, all fuses ok and no sign of a reset switch on the boiler.

Any ideas before i start burning the furniture??

burn the furniture?

I've actually no idea.  When my heating packed it a few weeks back I was luck/unlucky enough to be living in a council flat and was provided electric heaters.  Hope you get it sorted.

don't think I've ever understood anything less than that sentence.

I did have a problem with heating a while age though. I moved into a warm hotel until someone replaced the broken bits

All i can say is that boilers have an isolation switch which is fused, check that, it's the nearest power to the boiler (follow the electric cable).

i dont even need to be there to tell you that you have blow the fuse in the unverted mainframe capaciter and need to rreplace it then connect the upflow down pipe to the megaflow cyclinder with the hyperlink converter down forget you need to insure the bottom wiper with touch and slip needs grounding
