DTD rake split pots in cash games. Is this normal, I've never seen it before. Means I can make a loss on a pot I win. Surely not right.

yes it is. If a flop is seen, a pot is always raked as far as I know.

According to my sources, split pots should pay half rake.

Like when the board reads AKQJ10 and both players are raising and re-raising, realising there just gonna pay more rake!

Yep they do rake them on the internet and they do at DTD as i got short changed out of split pot last night (same hand preflop all in pre) and when we went through it all it was clear that the rake meant both us just got our bets back.

I assume you mean in normal hold em?

Of course they rake it the same, why should they take less just because your chopping  It's not DTDs fault its a chop.

There are of course hi/lo spilt games in Dealers choice where you always get a split pot and most of the time a chop in that too. Do you start reducing the rake on those too Tongue
