OT/ How to increase your chances of winning the national lottery

Do not check your tickets for about 5 months.  That way, when they release a statement saying that a winning ticket of £1.5 million from 2 months ago has yet to be claimed, having not checked your ticket you are more lilkely to be the holder of that ticket than the vast majority of people who have already checked and lost. 

Or am I missing something?...apart from a brain for buying a ticket in the first place
