Sunday PC trouble!!

I can see a pattern forming here!

For the last 2 sundays I've sat myself down ready to play poker, (drinks snacks lucky cap etc, etc) and 5 Min's before the tournament start my internet connection goes!! not sure why? and none of the trouble shooting features could find a solution! needed to shut down and turn the plugs off for it to work again!?  - for all of 10mins!!

Though last sunday was just one of those things, but to happen last night as well FFS!!!  rebooted 5 times in total before I gave up!

Now either I'm very unfortunate that the only 2 times my PC has crashed has been on the same day of the week at exactly the same time, or someone is trying to stop me playing poker on a Sunday!!! 

I have run a virus check - no probs, and connection is fine again today! 

any clues on how i can find out what is causing this, really want to play next sunday minus the hassle!!

Need a bit more information on your connection - is it adsl/cable? Do you have a router? Do you use wireless? Has it happened on any other days?

ok not being good with computers this is going to be hard to give you the right info!!! I have a wireless box thingy but it is plugged into the pc (as the pc isn't wireless) - my laptop was but thats a whole other story!!! - that one really did smash!!

This has only happened twice, both on a sunday between 8pm - 10pm!! and the internet just disconnected with no error msg?  phone line was still ok. Normal rebooting didn't work had to unplug from the mains and start again!

This is really puzzling me!!

spent loads of time online, playing poker, chatting etc, etc over the last few days - only to help diagnose this problem honest!!

absolutely no probs!!  going to play again on sunday and see what happens!?! 

I know I shouldn't, but I'm curious!!
