By genuine i mean he's himself and says what he thinks without being worried that some pathetic people might complain about it. I just think the blokes funny and in top gear presents one of the best shows on tele
Yes Top Gear is a good show but he acts like that deliberately to get ratings. He's not himself....He's so far up his own backside he's lost his way. Even complaints tell him how important he is and even if those are from 'patheic people'... Saying that I like him

I've been reading his stuff for 20 years, back when he used to write for Performance Car magazine. He has probably toned it down a little but he's still pretty much the same as he was then. Currently reading one of the books that is made up of a bunch of his Sunday Times' Columns, there are a number of similarities between those and the posts tikay writes in his Diary thread imo.
