Yeah. Im already regretting this one. I meant in the region of staking a bunch of people for $50 online MTTs or buying $50-$100 chunks of a wsop buy-in. My inbox is now full of PMs along the lines of 'My mate is good at poker, he knows all about pot odds n that, giz $10000'.

I was going to give you a big list of websites from my bookmarks, but then realised I'd misread the thread title as Stalking Websites.

I'd recommend not pissing your money away staking people.

Most of the time people who need a stake are generally lacking in some area ( tilt control, bankroll management ) etc.
Its hard to find a player beating a limit hard enough to actually need a stake for it...

The only exception is the big live MTTs simply because the sample size required is huge and one person would never see something even approaching a reasonable sample in their lifetime.

PS: A+ responses, I giggled a little.

I stake a few people, they are all winners at the level i stake them at.

There are many reasons why people don't have the roll themselves.

Be careful staking people you don't know.  I've been rolled twice by people.  Also I agree with Flushy, staking can be profitable and a nice passive income if done correctly.  I stake 6 players, 4 of which are winning at the moment and the other 2 aren't (yet) uncomfortably deep into makeup.  Just take every step possible to make sure the persons going to pay you if they score big.

I gather from my stalker that the blonde poker forum is pretty good for doing that kind of thing.

Theres enough people from blonde going to the wsop- would be far better to just ask someone you know if you could buy a bit of them. Ive sold a couple of small %s in myself for the main event at spot (one to someone who is golden with players he buys %s of) but its more of mates looking after each other than anything. I have staked/bought %s of people and sold bits many times but it is far easier to do it with someone you know and trust than any random bloke.

Too much negaticity re. staking players. Deffo massively +EV if done carefully.  Could deffo see me sending out a blondepoker party of LeKnave, zzzzrope and the like if i was minted enough. Sadly, i aint.
