6 card progressive irish turn choice

cash game
short stack has about £60 infront of him larger stack has about £130 and you have them both covered
ok you've made a mess of the hand and you was all in after the flop of
holding
(after first discards)
judging by comment from short stack you have him drawing to the nut flush and possible the straight aswell
the
hits the turn
you have no read on the larger stack what hand should you keep
i think its KK by a country mile but intrested in if anyone would keep KJ or the K4s

If you hit trip kings and the flush draw on the flop, I'd be keeping the draw (for certain if it was nut draw, more borderline with the non nut draw)
With one card to come, I'm keeping the made hand and hoping he has the spades.

Why not keep the trip kings on the flop anyway and rep the flush if it comes?
For the hand in OP, yes trips all day long. And twice on Sundays.

I know very little about poker, and even less about 'Irish progressive', but isn't it tricky repping a hand when you're all in?

Yeah ok, 0-1.
I thought Tighty was branching off into hypothetical-land with the usual dilemna for Irish - break the made hand or not, not applying Irons specific situation - i.e. he didn't have trips on the flop.. Ok I will stop now beofre it is 0-2.
Apart from to say, if you look very excited when the flush card comes, you might rep it, even when all in..
Nice level.

Since we'd have 9 outs to the full house if we're behind or 9 outs to the non nut flush draw aren't we always keeping the KK here

I was. My default is to break the made hand if I have the monster draw in my hand too
so you can have a goal back.
keeping the trips, say, and repping the other way (hypothetically) is I suppose board dependent..easier to do on an otherwise draw board

IF we're behind then yes but we're almost certainly ahead here, only AJxx is beating us
edit- so we still keep the KK, just for different reasons.
and don't forget keeping the KK also gives us the case K to hit
bit of a no brainer really this one isn't it?

So make that 10 outs which is more than if we kept the flush draw for some bizzare reason and then he didn't have the nut flush draw.Yeah i agree with it being a bit of a no brainer which is why i thought as i've just woke up i must be missing something .I didn't mean that we are behind just that if we were and say he showed his cards before we decided and he had AJ we'd still keep the KK.

say he showed his cards before we decided and he had AJ we'd still keep the KK.
unless he flips AJKT no spades or similar of course in which case we're behind to the straight and can choose to draw to 9 outs to the flush knowing it's live or 8 to the boat.
but barring a ridiculous occurrence like this, yes it has to be a no brainer to keep KK

As he'd have mucked the 2 cards he wasn't keeping we'd still think we had 10 outs by keeping KK.
Have we gone to far with our analysis lol ?

ran into the AJs from shorty and trip
from big stack so basically broke even on the hand
the rivered ace would of given me a split of the main pot but i didnt think keeping KJ would be good long term play
