I'm not posting this on the hand analysis board because it's not so much a hand for analysis, as me showing off how badly I can play.

At this point a little green man, who I've never met before, pops onto my right shoulder and whispers in my ear...
"When wiz the last time you slow-played yer Kings on the bubble there Tam?"
"You need to get a little tricky sometimes you know."
"G'wan just flat it, you know you want to."
There's another little man on my left shoulder. He wears a Marks and Spencer buisness suit and calls himself the voice of reason. I know him very well and I trust what he has to say. I turned to him to see what he made of what the little green man was saying.
Unfortunately he had gone to make a cup of tea or something. Maybe he had seen the pair of Kings and known that these hands play themselves on the bubble, his presence was unlikely to be required.
HERO calls 300

Pot: 840Things could be worse I suppose, this could be a three-way pot.
We're heads up against the raiser, it's a nasty flop looking flop. Maybe he's hit, maybe he hasn't. Are we going to fire in a little bullet to find out?
More importantly, are we going to be able to look in the mirror tomorrow morning if we don't?
The little green man has an opinion...
"Gwan and check that Tam. A nasty looking flop so it is."
"Gwan, check, he might check"
"Gwan, check, you might hit a Jack. A big old offsuit Jack for the lads, wouldn't that be grand?"
HERO checks
Tiltin Owl bets 600
I've never been in this spot before, the pot will usually be much bigger at this point if my hand is KK and it's the bubble. I turn to the little green man to see what he has to say about the situation.
The little green man is nowhere to be seen.
HERO foldsThe voice of reason comes back a couple of hands later stirring his cuppa. He asks what happened with the Kings.
"Meh...Split pot."
