Very very hard to confidently predict the fx markets at the moment. Most of the opinion is that it will re trace back up to 1.90 though so yes!

Im a bit of a spanner when it comes to currency, so help me out here chaps.

A big chunk of my bankroll is in Neteller at the moment in dollars, and obv if I withrdraw that now I make a nice little bit of £ on the good exchange rates. If I have to redeposit into a poker room soon after (ive only got about 30% of my bankroll in a poker room at the moment) it will cost me more than usual? So withdrawing is only really worth it if there is a good chance you wont have to move that money around back into dollars again soon?

I think Im gonna do it, because the extra pounds I make compared to a few months ago more than covers a losing month of September for me (in fact that combined with a good rakeback deal made it a winning month)

your best bet is to have a seperate sterling bank account with debit card-as your getting more £ for $ at the moment- so withdraw all of it to the sterling account and just debit the money available for the games you need to play(at the going rate)-rather than using your poker/neteller accounts as holding accounts- in the same respect when you book a decent win withdraw it back to the sterling account until the $ starts to go back up- then when this trend starts(which is quite hard to identify at the current economic climate) get it all back onto the neteller/poker accounts

I think you can use past history of currency to kind of forecast what months it is likely to go up but obviously at the moment its a lot more volatile

Its best not to try and play the currency markets using your poker accounts as its -EV due to the spread between the buy and sell rates used on poker sites/bank cards/Neteller. The trick would be to avoid depositing and withdrawing as much as possible, obviously the best situation is to withdraw only, but not everyone is lucky enough to be in that spot.

$1.74 is starting to look very tempting indeed.
