Help with my Omaha leak please

Hey guys

I am a reasonably proficient $1/$2 Omaha player but feel I have a leak and not sure how to proceed.

I play a lot of hands like  (I find these hand great for stacking people)

My problem comes when the flop comes  for example

I have trips but no good redraw and end up paying a lot of cash to people with three big cards with a six dangler.

Any thoughts how you should approach this flop in position and out of position?

Tonight for example I was about $900 up but ended up $300 for the session due to 2 hands like this - it's happened several times before though.

Should I just aggro it on the flop anyway (and am just being unfortunate at the moment?)

In NLHE it's cold deckish most of the time, but I suppose if you are 6 handed 4OH the chances of it happening are reasonable. I bet or raise for info and if I'm getting a lot of heat I'm putting many players on bigger trips or better. I guess when you're playng the starting hand you describe you're looking to make straights and straight flushes, not for the value, of for example, a 6 itself, which is what this flop is forcing you into.
Put it this way, if there is a big pot with this flop and you go crazy into it, who is really giving you action here other than a better 6 or a boat?

They are also pretty good for stacking yourself.

Depends on oppos but without any good information I have to play the hand at face value. Therefore:

If I'm oop I'm check calling this to keep it cheap. It's doubtful that anyone's betting without the 6 and if a late position player takes a stab they're unlikely to fire a second bullet if they are behind.

In position I'm also keeping it cheap as possible but I'm not folding to a bet. As above nobody's firing a second bullet without the goods.

I'm happy to win a small pot here with minimal risk

I think this pot needs to kept as low as possible but we're certainly not giving up on the hand without a bit of a fight. Playing it aggro invites the pot raise and leaves you with too many questions with no easy answers.

Keep it cheap. If you're ahead now you're unlikely to let anyone in to improve and beat you so you should take it at showdown.

agree with the pot control line (out of position) on the flop as you're not getting action from worse. In position i fire at the pot (if checked to) and reassess on the turn. Also depends if you have history against opponent (or think is capable of) firing with worse hands on any turn card.
