Any thoughts how you should approach this flop in position and out of position?
Depends on oppos but without any good information I have to play the hand at face value. Therefore:
If I'm oop I'm check calling this to keep it cheap. It's doubtful that anyone's betting without the 6 and if a late position player takes a stab they're unlikely to fire a second bullet if they are behind.
In position I'm also keeping it cheap as possible but I'm not folding to a bet. As above nobody's firing a second bullet without the goods.
I'm happy to win a small pot here with minimal risk
Should I just aggro it on the flop anyway (and am just being unfortunate at the moment?)
I think this pot needs to kept as low as possible but we're certainly not giving up on the hand without a bit of a fight. Playing it aggro invites the pot raise and leaves you with too many questions with no easy answers.
Keep it cheap. If you're ahead now you're unlikely to let anyone in to improve and beat you so you should take it at showdown.
