Thoughts on how I played this hand on each street please...

I have been pretty active winning several pots without a showdown but had to show down air several hands ago, after c/r A high flop on dry board and getting called, leading to me shutting down

I would just jam the river myself, he sure as hell isn't checking behind a better hand but he may check behind some worse hands. The only draw he can have got there so there aren't many hands that we can induce bluffs from. Lets try and get some value from worst made hands and value shove river.

Rest looks fine.

Yeah river is obv part I was most unsure of.. I thought he might fold a 99/TT type hand if I shoved, but he might turn those hands into a bluff if I checked... not sure about this.. he pobs checks behind as you say

Longy is right about the river action. Moreover, if you look at the image you're presenting to the table you will see shoving is the best move for this image anyway. You have been an active player and were forced to table air at showdown last time. Most basic players remember this stuff. They know your aggression doesn't necessarily tally with hand strength, so right now they don't believe you. You should want to take advantage of this; so there is very little need to check the flop imo. If you are trading off a LAG image then checking when you hit is a mistake imo. There is every chance you can get the chips in on the flop vs some sheriff type who wont be pushed around. But you can't so much if you check.

Anyway you can transfer the same principle to the river and push there. Checking the river would be a good tactic for a rock vs an aggressive oppo imo, but that is not you at this table. bolt's 200 pre suggestion is ok for you at this table though.

I would lead the flop.

Check Raise seems too strong.
