It is tough, it took me a month or so to decide, then I narrowed it down to the 3 so I popped into Lakes in town, saw them all and spoke to the guy about them.   Ordered from Amazon in the end cos it was cheaper and I had vouchers to use.  Glad I went to see them though tbh cos I was convinced that I needed 1080p but it turns out I didn't, especially as so little content is in full HD and I couldn't tell the difference anyway!

This is the tele I went with if you are interested. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0013UMYPK  It's a superb tele, I love it Smiley

There a thread on another forum i use that recommends the Sony Bravia 40. Looks to be about £544 at Dixons

Also if you do buy anything from Dixons before 6th of January should get 2.5% off online if use the code sale25
