Im in Junior.s camp on this one, I love his writing, hate his tv voice, its not what he says, Ive chatted to him online no probs, its the American, rising and falling, over loud delivery that gets to me

Hard to believe he's a resident of Copenhagen, eh?
The accentuated commentary delivery is done "to order", at the behest of the TV Producers. It ain't my cup of tea either, but we can't blame the guy for doing what he is being told, & indeed paid, to do. The shame is that so many TV Producers think the game needs dumbing down.
Heart monitors, over the top commentary, dalayed turning over of the turn & river cards, River Cams - what IS the matter with these guys? Let us hear the players banter, & let the cards speak, that's all we want.

ahh, the delay turning the cards over is ridiculous. I'm all for leaving it a few seconds to let the comentators anounce the hands and outs but the 20/30 second delay is horrible.

Well it seems I'm in the minority. I like his commentary. He might come across as a bit arragont, but at least his character spices things up a bit.
