Ginge out long ago.
Rumours that Albert has passed a hand are yet to be confirmed
Not sure about LeKnave - what's his real name
JP has just won a nice pot, but is still short stacked
Dan Samson is out
Radio Bradshaw is off air
Ben Vinson is now eying the cash game list
The bar is doing good business
I've never met a Scandinavian who doesn't drink.

They are on level 7 now and the blinds are 200-400 with a 50 running ante.

Cheers

Miaow.

The pace is picking up now and every few minutes you hear 'All in and call.' Then there is a moment or two pf pause beforea TV crew comes by and films it. Usually it is AK v KK and the KK guy thinks he has it until the inevitable A falls on the river. However, I just witnessed a variation of this in which the flop was 245 and of course the 3 fell on the river.

Gobby is doing well now, but just lost a pot against a short stack with pocket tens against his A-Q sooted.

I also saw James Sudworth sendsing a player to the rail when his A-J of hearts rivered a flush against AK. Ooh ah ooh la la, aurevoir monsieur Frenchman.

1 hour of play to go and there are just over 60 players left. The 25s are now been raced off and the final level of the night will be starting shortly, with blinds of 400-800 and a running ante of 100. Just spoke to Beppe and he is up to over 50,000 now and feeling confident. Will bring you selected chip counts soon.

The place is as jam packed as I have ever seen it. 15 cash games running now and they are running out of Vodka at the bar. Those Poles have a lot to answer for. Ah, there goes the Unibet jingle that they play at the beginning and end of each session. Bit of a drum beat then a Euro accented 'Unibet Open, by players, for players," which means that level 9 is now underway.

When we first played it yesterday I misheard it (due to the accent) as 'Five players, four players' and was scratching my head as to what the hell it meant. Now I get it.

Play has ended and the chip stacks are being counted an verified, but I can reveal that we lost Roberto Romanello on one of the last hands of the day. he had Q-T all in against Anna Wisnieska (the wife of Polish pop sensation Mihal Winsieski) who had K-T. Mihal was on the rail and when the hands were turned over he went crazy, cheeing on his missus. 'Without queen' he shouted as the board was dealt. When her hand held he celebrated exuberantly and started singing (hey, that's what pop sensations do) 'It's my wife, it's my problem', much to the amusement of everyone except a sheepish Roberto who sloped off quietly to lick his wounds.

Will Martin was also a casualty of the last level. For full chip counts see the Unibet Open website, where they will appear shortly. Play will resume tomorrow at 2pm. The feature table will be in use from 4pm and the full webcast will be in two languages - Dutch and English. All on the Unibet Open website. I'm off to get a rickshaw home.

Will do JR, thank you. It's all cleared with Unibet, by the way, & thanks for your help on that.
