After reading the article, fair play to him. I remember the updates from Snoops & the crew when the WSOP were trying to cut back on media access - they had a terrible time & were put under impossible conditions. For one of the companies that got the exclusive access to come out and complain about it is agood thing IMO.
PS If I won one I'd get it made into a belt buckle then I could wear it but none would know cause of the beer belly. Anyway, gaudy bracelet wearing in Glasgow can get you killed

Wow ! This is a pretty bold and massive statement from him.
I agree completely with his remarks about the bracelet being a bit tacky, but he goes way further than that by criticising the organisation of the Series.
The Day 1D lockout was a tragedy, but could the organisers really have done anything about it? Jeffery Pollack's comment that he was heartbroken seemed absolutely genuine, as did their efforts to come up with any viable alternative.
To be honest, I think it's a pretty remarkable feat to organise 57 perfectly run tournaments, with structures as good as they could possibly be, where on some days three or four tournaments are running at the same time.
They could have easily made it simpler for themselves by not allowing late buy-ins, alternates, not allowing players free choice over their Main Event starting day, and not stretching to every bit of space they could find to get as many players in as they could. Hats off to them I say, for making the Series just about as good as was possible.

i played an EPT and the guy to my left made a point of taking his wsop bracelt off and placing it by his chips, i didn't recognise him but afforded him a little respect for being half decent. It turned out he was a donkey.
I found out who he was during the day and was amused to find out later after a bit of googling that he had never even won a bracelt. Sad F*&% must have bought it.
