i'm interested to know the setup you use for your longer sessions.  Do you listen to music etc when you play or have the telly on in the background?

Yeah, this is a good question. How do you stay focused for so long when just sat in front of a PC? Any tips you can offer for doing that??

September 20th

WCOOP ME Day, also the last day i played in September, kinda gutting all round. Deep in the 100r to get no real return, deep in early WCOOP again for no real reward and then sit atop the leaderboard of the 5k for hours on end to come back for day 2 as a shorter stack. Get my doubleup then run KK into AA the next hand swiftly followed by 88 v AK coming xxxxA.

Goodbye September, you will not be missed!

Party: -$745

In summary it was a pretty terrible month that crushed my soul, a ridic amount of days where i just blanked every comp. The last 10 days have been good though whilst i have been off, starting to feel like i might get back on the horse soon but i may wait until November as i am away for half of this month, who knows!

I never watch TV (except very occasionally at the end of a session when i am 1/2 tabling early) unless its for NFL during the Sunday grind, its far to distracting to watch anything else, NFL works as i can just rewind the plays if they are significant. I listen to music pretty much all the time i play, complete mix of stuff.

As for the set-up i use, i just whack all the tables onto my 30" if it fills up i send the latest starting across to the 20" i also when i bust move everything down and across to the bottom left of the screen as this is the area that is most in the centre of my setup so that corner gets my most attention, its a good filtering system and stops me looking all across the screen for the ones that need the most attention.

Anyone got some tips on running good?
