was gonna go to the vds but heard the april ones got cancelled
so around april may time

when are there another good series of tourneys about and wheres good and cheapish to stay?

tourneys under 500 will be good but if theres a 1k main event or something that is ok

Failing that, just wait and see when Caesars/Venetian have a festival on and go then. If you can wait that long - go end of October 2012.

Hotels: Are you taking a woman with you? If so, rule out IP et al. Would recommend Harrah's/Bally's as the Harrah's group don't add on resort fees - and they add up.

Venetian & Caesers have nice festivals from end may til beg August. Weather is scorching hot, loads of brits around, great fun. Doubt you will find a better time.

There are 4/5 smaller festivals going on at other casinos in vegas with the majority of buyins in the $100-500 range.

WSOP sats in the rio every day, along with 1000 runner $200 crapshoots. Craploads of cash games going on.

The series is simply a catalyst for all this.

I wouldn't advise going during the WSOP early May is a much better time to be there, plenty of daily comps going on that are fast enough (assuming you don't want to sit in all day grinding marathons, if you do then just go June) and small enough fields that you can leave LV a champion.
