Prediction: 260 runners; 22k overlay

Trust me, i'm good at predicting things i havn't written on a piece of paper that says "william hill" at the top.

Great stuff for keeping the guarantee. Happy to risk my life driving up there.

Just had a facebook message from Alex saying the comp is now starting a 5pm 2moro...

Presume this is to give more people time to get there.

There goes the plan to knock 5 mins off the levels to have a busy club for filming the final being chucked out the window.

Mitch, after we have been hit £11k on our Re-Buy with the weather last weekend, and now we are faced with even worse weather this weekend, its really nice to see you supporting the club with those kind words, here are mine, for what they are worth.

Like changing the start time make any difference to how many runners we get - you really are a tool sometimes (Tom W told me to put "sometimes").

How many places would hold the GTE at £100.000 faced with this weather and thats all you can post on an open forum.

Cheers Rob

You have 100% took my message the wrong way Rob.

Ths first part of the message was to let alll the people know the new start time for the comp before anyone from DTD had posted anything on here about it.

The second part was refering to a post Simon made on the DTD thread when Tom asked him about changing the levels to 40 mins...

Isn't the 100k usually a 45 min clock?

Apologies if not, I am going a bit senile.

Hi Tom

With 459 players last month the comp didn't finish until 3.30am Sunday , everyone was knackered and there was no atmosphere for TV so i am trying a slighly shortened clock in the hope it will end at a more reasonable time without effecting the player experience. We can always change iit back if we need to.

Cheers

ACES

At no point was i having a pop at the club or anyone working there, and i certainly commend you on sticking to the guarentee.

I think when you read it back you will see you have perceived the tone of the message in the wrong way.

Also, there arent many players who support the club as much as me, both in how much i play there and how often i write about it and big it up on this forum.

If you want to discuss this further ill be donating at the deepstack, as always.

Cheers, Mitch.

I for one know Mitch never puts down DTD as he is always there an is one of the reasons i look forward to my visits there. So as a friend i know an agree that his post was not meant to mean as Rob may took it an hope they can put it in the past.
