Actually turns out that was at the venue across the road with a similar name.

Let's hope it's different then, from the general sounds of Frenchy events we'll by lucky.

Still, not the best piece of publicity...

Safe to say this is more about the WSOP wanting an online presence in France than anything else.

You mean WSOP.com? Are they planning a french skin because right now they only have UK players on their site?

this. before there was little way of justifying a £10k buyin in a very pro and shark infested comp. Now this starts to look like one of the best value comps in the world. I'll take the over on 4 wsope ME staking threads, anyone want action?

You mean staking threads where 4 people get all their action sold? Because anyone can start a thread, I would for a giggle if you had money on it.

And if so, I like your side anyway, just asking.

Not as such. More a partnership. It's expensive to launch in France. They did a deal recently in France that was essentially a JV with an Italian poker site, shared revenues in return for exclusive rights to promote WSOP tournaments and satellites. Similar thing I would expect. Barriere casinos are linked with the FDJ for online poker so that's a pretty powerful partner.

yes, 4 soldout staking threads. obv wont take action from flushy or dubai, as it would reduce potential investment by 90%

The partouche in cannes was amazing, if it's not in London then my second choice would be Cannes or Monte Carlo but as the EPT already has their flagship leg there I'd like to see Cannes how something big.

EPT Grand Final no longer held in Monte Carlo dude
