Lol at people complaining about the €75 euro min cash, its just a ridonkulous bonus that you get money where ever you finish, and there is still enough money to make huge prizes for the final two tables.
Increments every 10 players would be amazing even if it was only €50 just sat there watching the money increase all through the day.
If the €500 is right people should be playing even if they cant make it
Any other excuse is rubbish, its top 10% in a €60 comp getting a seat worth circa €900
I agree.
Simon - can you please clarify whether this interpretation (i.e. redsimon's) is correct?
I can't make Saturday, so haven't been playing as it's not worthwhile to spend €60 trying to win €75 (which I've assumed to be the min cash figure). The last Grand Prix had an incredibly flat pay structure upto the top 4-5 places so, assuming that was the case again, I couldn't see any prospect of a higher cash for being blinded out.
It would be helpful if there was a clear pay structure available, as it's a very different decision to try and get a €60 seat for a likely €500 cash vs a €75 one. At present, I have no clear information as to which it's likely to be.
Min cash will always start at 1.5 x buy in with between 3 - 4 tables getting this then it will increase in steps until we reach the top 18 where the remainder of the pool gets paid out in %ages. I design the structures and know that 15,000 chips will blind out to the top 30% of the field eg 17% remains after 12 levels.

Thanks Simon.
If I understand that correctly, then all the benefit of the overlay will be at the top end places (i.e. 18th down to 1st).
Consequently, in my situation where I can't make Saturday I'm not sure that there's enough value to try and qualify for a blind out cash.
Good luck with the event though.
No problem i appreciate your support, i had a look at the payouts today for different scenarios and it is possible my €500 could be closer to €350 so i have changed it although i was being " safe " predicting top 30%, it actually is closer to 25%, one thing for sure anyone who enters for €120 will definitely make a profit from blinding away if they genuinely can't make it. Let's be honest if you have made Day 2 who wouldn't want to take a shot at such a massive roi !
