Here are the results for Mondays live and online flights.
Club produced 12 and online 14.
This gives us a total of 154 and a projected total of 275.
The overlay has decreased to €112,500
Some point to consider...
Based on 275 players first prize will be approx
€60,000
, to put this in perspective this is equivalent to a 1200 - 1 return ! Even if you have 3 entries it will be 400 - 1. If you play a £1000 comp with 150 players you will get a return of 50 -1, even our £300 Deepstack is " only " 100 -1 .
Some players have been saying they only want to have 1 or 2 entries as min cash is €75, our payout structure ladders from 1.5 increasing in 0.5 increments to 19th then top 18 get %ages, by the time 10 - 15% of the fiield are out min payout will already be €125.
Had we hit the guarantee, you would have had to beaten 499 players to get a huge return, now it will be far less and the payout increments will increase quicker.
And finally, one player wriote to me asking if he didn't turn up for Day 2 where would he finish. As we are using our Deeptack structure 15,000 chips 45 min clock i know we have 17% of the field after 12 levels, i have calculated a dead stack would blind away by level 10 when approx 70% of the field will be out, even with 500 players i would expect 150th to pay €350. I would prefer not to have too many dead stacks but if you genuinely can't make it, it is still worth investing €120 for a guaranteed return, those that can get here, even if you are travelling 200 miles it is worth it for a shot at €60,000 and the ones that come will have less players to beat.
Please, if you agree with the points above spread the word and help me reduce the guarantee to a respectable €50,000.
Cheers

As posted in other thread
If there is an overlay, will the min cash stay at €75 or, as an eg, you only have 250 runners, would all cash brackets just double?? I think the second option would keep the majority of your recreational qualifiers happy, as the 1st prize is still huge compared to buyin. Think using the overlay to add to a top heavy payout structure, may be more inviting for the "pros" but not your Cx base overall

This is actually pretty massive and should defo encourage ppl to play even if they can't make it. You don't even have to turn up and you'll blind out to a 500euro cash? Yes please

Simon, can you elaborate? Is this saying min cash is 1.5% of prize pool if 275 are in Day 2? How often would the increments increase? Every 10 players?
Edit:
Think Pennys dropped 1.5x buy in? Second part still interesting, every 10 players for 25 euros uplift?

Lol at people complaining about the €75 euro min cash, its just a ridonkulous bonus that you get money where ever you finish, and there is still enough money to make huge prizes for the final two tables.
Increments every 10 players would be amazing even if it was only €50 just sat there watching the money increase all through the day.
If the €500 is right people should be playing even if they cant make it
Any other excuse is rubbish, its top 10% in a €60 comp getting a seat worth circa €900

I agree.
Simon - can you please clarify whether this interpretation (i.e. redsimon's) is correct?
I can't make Saturday, so haven't been playing as it's not worthwhile to spend €60 trying to win €75 (which I've assumed to be the min cash figure). The last Grand Prix had an incredibly flat pay structure upto the top 4-5 places so, assuming that was the case again, I couldn't see any prospect of a higher cash for being blinded out.
It would be helpful if there was a clear pay structure available, as it's a very different decision to try and get a €60 seat for a likely €500 cash vs a €75 one. At present, I have no clear information as to which it's likely to be.

Min cash will always start at 1.5 x buy in with between 3 - 4 tables getting this then it will increase in steps until we reach the top 18 where the remainder of the pool gets paid out in %ages. I design the structures and know that 15,000 chips will blind out to the top 30% of the field eg 17% remains after 12 levels.

Will stacks get left on the table? I played last night and someone didn't turn up. They removed his stack after level 6 but he still had 5-6k left.

Thanks Simon.
If I understand that correctly, then all the benefit of the overlay will be at the top end places (i.e. 18th down to 1st).
Consequently, in my situation where I can't make Saturday I'm not sure that there's enough value to try and qualify for a blind out cash.
Good luck with the event though.
