In which format of poker is position more important, Omaha or hold em?

Don't think it's as simple as one or the other. Assuming you're referring to NLHE and PLO then usually PLO.

It's heavily dependant on stack size though really.

If you're ridic deep in both games then position in omaha is much more important because you get to control the pot size.

If omaha was no limit then position would become less important because you could just jam the lot in with a nice draw and never make a mistake.

If you're shallow in both games then it doesn't really make a hell of a lot of difference.

This...not having position in draw (like 2-7)is a nightmare.
