i wouldnt get annual worldwide ins as generally its a multi trip policy that covers you for 30 days per trip.

you prob need a specialist insurance.  i would ring somebody like swinton and get some ideas from them (or statravel)

Trail finders covers these guys for they what they need they as they deal with round the world trippers all the time. They just need to be clear with them what they are doing.

Just had a look at website, gonna ring em tomo. Sooo much bollocks about the polices, pages of it. What it covers you for etc etc, sigh. Had a look at STA aswell and theirs is £75 for the year?

Cheers Woodsey, ledge as always. Thx to everyone else too Smiley

If you plan to go to the US and Canada make sure you are covered medically. There are horror stories out there of people ending up with medical bills of up to 6 figs.

Some policies exclude North America because of this.

As an aside, Thailand is a great place to get dental work done if your likely to need it at some point and you can't get it on the NHS here, its a hell of a lot cheaper and of a good standard. Just make sure you get a few recommendations of a dentist on the ground from people you meet out there, preferably expats that have been there a while. Or throw the question out there on this forum for recommendations.

I've used them a couple of times as they were recommended to me by some people who travel a bit.

But I don't know anyone who's ever had to make a claim so they're not really tested as such.
