I get mine from my natwest card for free, check if you have free cover from one of your cards. Otherwise I have found trail finders to have good cover on their insurance as its geared towards backpackers.

Also check the detail if there is specific stuff you want to do to make sure your covered, diving, riding a motorbike etc, don't just get the cheapest insurance. In fact mate, just don't ride a bike there its really fucking dangerous. If your a knobhead like me and use motorbike taxis now and then when your pissed, make sure you put a helmet on, you will see bad accidents there daily.

Also carry your insurance details with you all the time as you won't get treatment there if you cant pay for it. I carry a laminated photocopy of my passport page with all my travel insurance details on the back, policy number, emergency assistance number, my mates phone number I'm travelling with etc.

i wouldnt get annual worldwide ins as generally its a multi trip policy that covers you for 30 days per trip.

you prob need a specialist insurance.  i would ring somebody like swinton and get some ideas from them (or statravel)

Trail finders covers these guys for they what they need they as they deal with round the world trippers all the time. They just need to be clear with them what they are doing.
