watched it last night seriously over sensationalised. No where near as likley as they make out. Intresting to see that negative comments from ATC's that have been forced into retirement. I used to be very frightened of flying to the point of panic now it facinates me and i love it, if flushie can fly one how dangerous can they be? hang on i'm scared thinking about that one

What did they claim?

When it comes to airliners its near impossible. There has only been 1 in europe since TCAS became a requirement and thats because the TCAS was ignored.

Basically said that its gonna happen due to traffic, but in dramatisation it happened because TCAS, changed discision and the captain ignored it and the co pilot pointed it out rather than actioning it. The dramatisation glossed over this, It was a series of events that lead to the collision but they made out on ATC error would do it.

Cheesy I was happy i was just sitting there and not doing it!!! They are not as easy as they look.

Yeah a crash is less likely as we move foward due to the increase in TCAS technology, most TCAS systems made today comunicate with the other aircraft that they see and give a combined solution to the aircrew in both planes.
