This is the first time I've 3bet pre, he hasn't seen any time I have had AAXX or KKXX yet.  He's starting to get a little wobbly so I want him to think i have bad aces and try to take me off them later in the streets/value bet wider.  This is all dependant on me hitting the flop with my run down, which I do.  Board goes bad and I bail on the river, were the other streets ok?  The turn is the key moment IMO.  Maybe I should even call the river at those odds but i don't think I'm good enough here.

As played I fold the river but I'm definitely check-raising turn.

Pre I 3b pot, but 8/9 is just me nitpicking.

no it's fine imo, just not as good as 9. We're going to play an inflated pot IP lets infalte it to 18 not 16 Cheesy  there has been loads of experiment with smaller 3bets but 100bb's deep with this hand it just really doesn't matter Smiley

As played I'm just betting big on the turn, c/r is cool and a nice for you range not have 56 exclusivley when you c/j the turn, but I think betting is infinitely better because once we check are range becomes hands that give, strong flopped hands that are pot-controlling vs an obvious draw (this means he'll chk back a lot of stuff with SD value that loses to 56) and c/j's (mostly 56 or big draws, again likely meaning he'll chk back a lot of stuff with value that loses to 56) he won't go turning too much aside from 1p's and Straight/draws into bluffs OTT because most of it will do terribly vs your c/r range here. so for these reasons I'm just prolly hitting the pot btn OTT and if he has 56 gl to him.

Our two just ins't strong enough to take to check to showdown as even some of the loosest flop peels will have good equity vs us and we're OOP allowing him to vbet/bluff and chk back vs us almost perfectly given then line we've taken. It's basically going to be very hard for us to make good decisions on a lot of rivers once we chk/call the turn.
