Got to live the Irish...just ha a gander at Irish Poker boards and some local has just 7-bet jammed 7h8s into AhAs for 500 bigs in level one - they like to gamble

His hand can make a lot more straights than Aces can. He was also highly unfortunate to have his suits covered thus reducing his flush outs.

5% cap is excellent.

 

If its €20 cap too, like Killarney was then not so good. Although the pubs in Dublin will appreciate the business.

5% cap at €15, at least in the €1/2 PLO games. This sounds excessive no?

They were actually capped at €10 in the end.

All in all a pretty shit festival as far as people turning up went. Dtd looked more fun in hindsight. I also had my first taste of PKR players playing live. Even pre flop folds take 30 seconds. Very tilting.

TDs and dealers were truly excellent though tbh and Lemongrass restaurant really good. We may return for the Norwegian Open in March which had 50 cash games going last year I heard.
