give him his money back, not even close imo.

Basically...

DO whatever you think he would do if roles had been reversed

I like to assume everyone would do the right thing, a slightly naive way to view the world ofc but nice to think. If I have even the slightest notion the guy might ba a prick though and he's not getting a penny.
It's not often I disagree with Lil Dave but I don't think this is right. If the guy wants to spin his mate with 55 that's fine, however he has to face the consequences. The whole hand is a tale of woe and and the flush should never even be known.

The player who mentioned the club in an untabled hand is totally out of order and so is the dealer. These are important points.More importantly how can you ever play a decent pot with the friend in the future if you fanny about now giving him a bung in the car park which this amounts to?

There is also a good chance the friend will take offence if you offer him something, I know I would feel like a right bell end. Bad enough tilting off a oner without having one of the regs seeing me as a charity case.

How's it charity? He had the best hand and irrespective of whether or not anyone should have mentioned it we've all seen that he did, so give him his money back! Seriously it's not even close for me, wouldn't expect it back but think its the right thing to do.

Maybe I'm just against the flow here, who knows!

I am certainly not going to walk round the Mean Streets of Lady Bay anymore. It's a jungle out there.

are people suggesting we give him the whole pot or just his half back?

Yeah whole pot ofc Alex and maybe some of our savings, perhaps the shirt on our back too.

Hi Cos

Sorry sorry. If it was Musclez or Mantis I'd have just let the comment slide but you're sharp enough to know better!

Nothing wrong with going against the flow. But I don't see how it can't even be close.

He never even had a hand let alone the best one. It was in the muck. Some fundamental rules of the game are never worth breaking like 1 player to a hand and protecting your hand. This guy failed in both of those. Surely a player has to show some respect for the game.

bring your friend down to luton g ,he wont have to rely on another player telling him he has a flush after hes mucked , provideing he sits in seat 1 or 9 he will be told by she who will remain nameless while he still has the hand in the air not showing it to anyone and muttering ...no your good you win ,then going to throw the hand in face down, and the ever so friendley staff will squell out....you have a flush
