Ok ty mate, but I think he's probably not going to use it until he gets to the philippines, I assume that makes it difficult with a foreign sim card etc?

Looks like Silo has found a cheap option.

If you put a sim in before you hand it over, you can unlock the phone for him now and he is good to go.

I just need the IMEI and I can get the unlock code for you.

I have sim cards here I can put into phones before we go if that helps, once home they will then have local sim cards.
