Stars Hot 44 last night

Blinds 200/400

Villain is Run dat Game who is a good reg as I understand it. He has 34K
Hero has 16K

No stats on Villain but he has been opening a lot of pots and using his stack well. We had a confrontation approx 10 mins earlier where I 4 bet shoved 44 pre from the BB after he limped/3 bet the SB. He folded. Apart from that I have been trying to stay out of his way.

Villain open utg+2 to 800
Hero is utg+3 and has AKss and raises to 1850 (sizing?)
Villain calls

Flop 677 (2 hearts)

Villain checks
Hero?

Might be a trivial question but is c betting this flop abs standard. Just seems like we are going to get called a whole lot of the time. Maybe I'm just a pussy! .

Vs a good a thinker as Lichtenberger i think I prefer to flat pre considering the effective stack size and positions at the table. I realise post flop play is a rarity in turbos but off 40bb I doubt we can get it in pre way ahead.
I think he probs peels nearly everything he opens with, so I'd prefer to see a larger 3b if we do. (2195/jam)

As played I'm extremely guilty of not cbetting correctly, but I think in this instance it's fine to check behind, don't feel this is the correct person to try stay balanced vs.

I think in general I would want to keep pots as small as possible vs probably the best player (na affence) in a high value tournament.

EDIT: ignore me, I've got my villains mixed up. Would certainly want to get this in pre vs him so def going with the chunky 3b.
Have you any history apart from the bvb hand? Probs a mandatory cbet vs this guy, 1385/f

Is this some kind of hilarious practical joke?

Run dat game is a decent mtt reg (not Luckychewy).

I would always flat pre unless we had some absurd dynamic.

If we bet I think we have to bet/bet/jam which is quite spewy, and may well be terrible in a tournament, so I think check back and try and get to showdown.

why? we are almost never bluffing here pre, seems like as good a hand as any to do it. Think the bulk of his range calls once (oop floats/mid pps/aq) but hates life by the riv.

Do you ever bluff 3-bet in these positions? If we bet, bet, jam this hand then what we're doing it with our whole 3 betting range on low boards? Seems like that's not neccesary.
