Think I've told this story before on here, by far the worst error I've ever made. Fair few years back in Vegas I was playing in a crazy 5/10 game at tha Wynn (this is back in the day when everybody was shit). I've forgotten how the hand played out exactly with exact cards etc, but it was along the lines of...

I had a pair in the hole, 88 or something like that, lots of raising pre flop multiway, then the flop came down 4 5 x with flush draw. Me and one other girl ended up getting it all in on the flop and the total pot was about $7k at this point lol. She had a straight and flush draw....the turn hit the flush....fuck....and the river paired the board. I throw my cards in the air towards the muck then glance down and spotted that the flush card was an 8, and the river gave me a full house.....double fuck lol.

Still to this day I can picture my cards spinning through the air in slow motion and hitting the muck  Cry

I got up said nothing and walked away....that 1 hand was also the difference between a break even trip and a coming back $7k to the good.

Playing 1/2 cash at DTD a few years back now and I made an expensive misclick.

There's a straddle to £4 and quite a few callers, and it comes round to me in the SB.  I look at and I decide to throw in the additional £3.  However, instead of throwing in a yellow and a blue chip (£1 and £2), I accidentally throw in a yellow and a black chip (£25) without saying anything.  So it obviously goes as a raise.  Two people call, the rest fold.

So now there's in the region of £90 in the pot, and I've got the monster that is .

The flop's not too bad for my hand at all:

It's likely that the callers have overcards to the board and I've got to be ahead most of the time, yeah?  So when one leads out for half the pot, I'm  thinking I've got to raise here (got about £300 back).  Well, anyway the lot goes in, and I'm expecting to see him turn over the nut-flush draw or something.  But no, he's holding .  I was ahead pre-flop, but was now needing a snooker.  It didn't come, and Mr Bedi was stood behind me watching the hand unfold and all I could hear him saying was "so sick, so sick".  I nearly was.

Twice in recent memory I've been so exhausted playing that I've been half falling asleep at the table and played hands thinking I had entirely different hole cards. Usually the hand I had before, or sometimes just a hand that was in my head.

It's such a bizarre feeling turning over a hand on the river that is different from the one you expect it to be.

My luckiest experience with this was about 5 years ago in a cash game. I remember doing some crazy bluff with K4 on a 553 board, turn and river were blanks and I went allin on the river for about half my bankroll at the time.

The guy called and I angrily mucked my cards, they bounced off the dealers hands and turned face up - I actually had K5!

lol how can anyone be this golden?

I had one at DTD where I thought I was bluffing with A4 on 5365K after I missed the river. Only for me to actually have A5 I was really embarrass as it was a big ish pot and as he called a sighed slid my cards forward but double checked them before I mucked and then had to crawl into a big hole in the floor. The guy took it ok my reaction must have been sufficient to make it obvious it wasent a horrible angle and it was just an honest mistake

A few years ago now in the local pub we had a small 25p/25p cash game going, I remember looking at Q6hh, flopping a flush draw, getting there on the turn and shoving the river knowing I was getting called.  Guy says "I know you've got the flush, but I'll call" as he turns over 3rd pair.  Tens.  I say yeah I have mate, and to my horror and everyone else's amusement turn over Qh6d!  I miss that game those were the days!
