bit like religion isn't it.
people can believe whatever the fuck they want to believe in, as soon as there's any credible, testable evidence then the rest of us can start caring. until then, just let people get on with it.

I think there is enough evidence to conclude that in almost every major incident that has happened and considered a conspiracy that there is more to it than meets the eye.
This side of the Atlantic look at events there have been public enquiries into and the level of corruption from top down is staggerring.
The two best examples would be Bloody Sunday and Hillsborough. There are many other instances especially in Ireland over the years of the role the state played in numerous events.
Willie McCraes death was bizarre. Given what has since come out about the paedo rings at the highest echelons of British society is again comes as no surprise that he was killed.
Jill Dando would be another. That was just all very weird.

The rumour about Jill Dando was that she'd become aware of the whole Westminster paedo thing.

I saw a really weird, long conspiracy theory involving the deaths of Jill Dando, Mike Smith and Rik Mayall.

Now 5 years ago I would have said this was complete bullshit.
But the whole child abuse thing runs so deep, with so many famous people and politicians involved, I don't know what to believe any more.
How on earth did Jimmy Savile get away with it for so long? 40 odd years of horrific aabuse.
He must have had friends in high places making sure he wasn't arrested or allegations printed about him in newspapers.
If we assume that is true, then why would would they do it?
The most logical explanation is Jimmy had information on people he would reveal if he ever got nicked.
Layers upon layers of cover ups. It really is frightening stuff.

Really quite amazing after the UB scandal that online poker has continued to flourish.
I guess it would take a similar scandal at Stars before people finally started to doubt online poker

Layers upon layers of cover ups. It really is frightening stuff.
Savile used to spend Christmas with the Thatchers, he was friends with Prince Charles - you don't get that close to people that high up without the security services giving you a thorough vetting, so it would have been impossible for them not to know about Savile, so why did he still get access to them?
He must have been untouchable because of what he knew. If anything happened to him, he'd have made sure info came out. It's inconceivable that Thatcher didn't know about Leon Brittan (indeed, there's one story that she personally intervened one one occasion when Brittan was caught 'at it' to ensure the police investigation stopped).
Another thing has just occurred to me - Leon Brittan had been ill with cancer for some time, though this only was made public once he'd died. However William Hague said in the HoP that 'many of us who have known him for a long time will know that he had been ill for many months'. So top people would have known that Brittan was on his way out soon.
So it does seem less than coincidental that in the wake of Savile, and rumours of Wesminster being involved, that the allegations against Brittan suddenly became more widespread over the past six months - it's almost as if it had been decided that he was going to be the scapegoat for all of this. Have a relatively minor scandal about some dead nonce, the public make a link in their own minds that all that Westminster paedo stuff was Brittan and he's dead now so forget about it, the non-happening child abuse scandal drifts out of view and we're back to normal.

Not only that but if they knew he was dying, then the delays in the inquiry - picking completely unsuitable people to chair it - mean that he has died before he can give evidence.

Read this blog before
Ignoring parts of it which are just silly there are a hell of a lot of links as Andrew says above.
It is very easy to believe what we are told by the media, not sure how many more events like the ones mentioned it will take for people to think a bit more for themselves.
