Most are a load of bullshit as far as I'm concerned. However, I do think the death of Princess Diana stunk to high heaven and she was probably murdered because she was simply too popular, and the Royal Family would never have been able to brush her under the carpet.

Anyone else believe any conspiracy theories?

We didn't land on the moon.

9/11 was an inside job.

I do love a good conspiracy theory

The only conspiracy theory I have any time for is that the fourth plane on 9/11 was shot down.

I mean, it makes sense, the US home defence forces have seen the terrible damage the first 3 planes have done and they have no clue where this one is headed.

Shooting it down makes sense, but it also makes sense for them not to admit it initially because they would be worried how public opinion would react.

As it was I think most people would accept the action as the lesser of two evils, but once they had claimed the passengers had brought it down, they felt they couldn't go back on their story.

I've got more important things to worry about, than if we really landed on the Moon, or if that plane really hit the pentagon...

I don't particularly mind those who choose to believe their alternative theories, but I do tell them to take a running jump if they start insisting that I read all the stuff that they have.

Peculiar stance to have. So your basically saying its fine for others to have an opposing opinion to yourself, but you have absolutely zero interest in what people say or at least opening up yourself to question things that have /have not happened. Fwiw i absolutely could be wrong about both but I've watched alot of documentaries on both and that is what I conclude until i gain further/better knowledge.

One thing I would say is media in this country and the US has come under increased scrutiny mainly through social media i.e phone tapping scandal and Fox News ridiculous partisan approach to Broadcasting, highlights how life is lived in shades of grey and not black and white.

edit: oh and we can throw the Hillsborough coverage into the pot aswell and how things have materiailsed over time.

Sorry, I should have been a bit more expansive with my initial post, but was distracted, and just clicked post...

I have watched several programmes, as well as reading articles, and am quite happy that what we have been told happened, is what actually did happen.

Nice way to stifle debate, I'll retreat and let the big boys debate.

Nice thread subject though Woodsey

The only thing that counters this is that US confirmed the order was given to take the a/c out, as it happened it came down before that could be done. Interestingly the female pilot of the F-16 that was tasked with the intercept had no weapons on board so was going to have to just fly into the airliner....
