As a programme, it's absolute bottywash, isn't it?

"There are four acts that can win it". Apparently, Simon has been following the betfair market.

Yeah, complete rubbish.

Unlike that fabulous dancing programme.

There's such shite on TV these days that it's actually one of the more entertaining shows.

+1

BGT has definitely gone down the pan over the eyars, but what else is there? Not a big fan of BGT, but it's still a good watch. However it must be on it's back now, some of the dance acts in the final was rubbish, struggled to have made the semis years ago.

Thought the public got the top 3 spot on for the first time ever last night.

Not sure we are watching the same show Aaron, this years Was one of the best yet, throughout the series there has been 4 different favs, compare that to when Boyle was 2nd or the phone salesman (forget his name) won it who were both heavy favs, even the year Pudsy the dog won it they were favs all the way through. Very very tough final last night and going into it the Choir had been favs all week closely followed by Callum Scott (who was always at the top of the betting)  and it was only on the night that Julie and Matisse flipped the market along with the magician. Can see Simon and ITV rubbing their hands together at what a success this was, a fair few acts are going to make Simon even richer.

Certainly agree with you over the top 3, anyone of them could have won it, we certainly are animal lovers but that magician was fantastic wasn't he?

the magician rehashed a david blaine trick (he used an orange instead of a lemon). not that special, and certainly not that original. (hole in the bottom of the lemon, sleight of hand, away you go. certainly proficient at it though)

the choir was a bit boring on third listening.

and we know the country loves a dog act

certainly the dance acts were not a patch on previous years..so while the top end of the final was good and competitive i didn't think the finishers in the bottom half were anything special at all

had to laugh at "boyband" who actually didn't sing, and merely danced!

Enjoyable series, yes. But it was like a game of two halves for me in the final, the first half was not very good and the second half was absolutely great. I've no idea on the betting really though, little interest to me betting on such an event. But those dance acts, when you compare them to previous dance acts? Old Me Grooving was fun, but 4th place? Boyband was complete waste of a wildcard too, imo.

Although we agree right at the end, I could not choose between the magician and dog, in fact I still would have been pleased if the choir would have won. Such a worth top 3, which makes a refreshing change!

Away from the finalists, I like David, but sometimes he does get a bit tediously boring, I'd keep him, but HATE Aleysha, not hugely keen on Amanda, but would love to see Dixon get knocked off the panel

(lol @ me and tighty pretty much agreeing)

300/1 on the machine right now.  Couldn't resist.  Surely the choir are just a bit dull?
Punters gonna punt  Wink

True, but 25/1 now
GLGL mate hope it wins for you!

He had another poker player in the dancers at the back tonight, Steve O'Keefe was roped in and showed at the back.

Haha, he looked very pleased with himself in the pose to camera at the end :-)

First time I'd seen the acts last night. The magician did an old and well-known trick (much older than David Blaine - probably Victorian at a guess), but he did it reasonably well. No different to someone singing a song someone else is famous for performing.

Can't be doing with all those flashing lights, fireworks and faux drama. Makes the darts seem refined.

cant believe a fuss is being created because they used a stunt double for the dog, people pay to see top movie stars all the time but dont ask for a refund when the actors use a double to jump over a 60ft ravine
