Not sure if anyone caught this on Saturday night but the guy in the blue jumper is Dave "Disco" Welch (not be confused with the late night poker version) who plays/played his poker in the Southend and London area's.

It's one of those looks like it's going to be terrible ones to start off with but has over 2 million views already...

Here is his herbert pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=125640

They could be vying with Tom for a place in the live shows!

He is actually a dance teacher and runs an academy in Canvey so as soon as I saw him I thought it would be half decent.

never knew that

my memory of him is folding 95% of hands and only playing pairs back in the old days pre the tours, around the southern festivals!

He was quite a vocal character at the tables and I remember him on an FT that you would have done the update for in 2009 at Dtd that Keys won iirc.

Just seen that they range from 5/1 choral to 16/1 in the betting for it..

Hope he reacts better to not winning BGT than he does when he loses a hand!

My memory of him was calling off 40 bigs 3 handed with a6 off against my kings pre flop when the third guy literally had 5 bigs left and high fiving everyone in the room when the ace fell first card on the flop.

Wasn't on blonde in those days son!  Long time ago.  Certainly wouldn't describe him like Tighty did back in those days.  Didn't know he did that for a living. Fair play to him.
