not much arguing with this team of the season so far is there?

You could have had infity to one picking that team at the start of the season.

Ozil and possibly Smalling are the only ones anyone would have considered.

I'm not a great fan of the Premier League, but this season has been pretty good so far. Mostly thanks to Leicester it must be said.

no one in stoke is surprised by Butland's place on the team.  Most were expecting it.  Hart's England place on borrowed time imo.  Might be his last finals next summer.  Hope he enjoys it.  He has literally had no competition for his place in the England team for 6 years.

they've both been top players in the england junior teams and often these players train regularly with the first team when there's injuries/short numbers. Both are seen to be international class and they want to give them experience, exactly the same as when they took Walcott to the world cup (maybe euros) and he didn't play. Lingard has also always been really impressive on his loan deals right?

Shawcross to me is similar mould to Jags, decent defender, but not top, top class and good enough for world cups.

Lingarrd very average in the worst Brighton side of last six years.

Not quite sure how he is in the England squad. Luckily won't be near it if Walcott or chamberlain are fit.

You do realise it is just one person's selection for team of the season so far? Loads of teams  have been published in the last month or so. Here is an example from the Mirror where there are about a dozen different teams:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/team-season-far-writers-make-6803358

De Gea, Hart, Cech and Butland all nominated for one team or another.

Agree it is good for England that Butland looks the real deal and will push Hart all the way. I'd still be amazed tho if Hart doesn't go on to get 100+ caps.

Never forget him scoring a consolation goal in the 4-1 defeat at Derby in the play off semi final second leg and going absolutely mental.

I thought that was very strange. He needed reminding it's a team game and your team is going out.

Was lua lua but think he jumped on lua lua back in celebration

Anyway, he's an average champ player. Nathan Redmond should be ahead of him.
