Fulham should've been 2 or 3-0 up by then. Not sure I'm looking forward to Chelsea vs Newcastle on Wednesday night... Sad

IMO the ref did well.

He got a buzz, didnt make a decision either way, didnt panic and came up with the right answer.

I think the linesman had a tough decision over whether to flag or not as he wasn't 100%.

Some credit for getting it right methinks.

It was the correct decision as a 1-off incident, but it could easily have been wrong then all hell would break loose! Referees are too inconsistent at the minute but the some dodgy new rules don't help them any eg the offside rule, overly complicated, whats wrong with if ur offside ur offside, not if ur interfering with play nonsense and another example would be the taking the top off to celebrate rule, pointless!

i think it was the correct decision and infact i think fulham should be awarded 10 points for the win and chelsea should be docked 74 points. any goal that chelsea score should not count.

they are by far the most hated champions i can remember. they play boring football, they moan at the ref more than man united or arsenal ever did and they lack class. that comes from the all their riches, they seem to think they are above the laws of the game on and off the pitch.

Agreed. Even as a Liverpool fan I have to say I had more respect for Man U than I do Chelsea.

as an ok footballer in my time lol I have to say it was a terrible decision. Regardless of the fact it was handball ,the ref and his assistants have to give the decisions on what they see, not on what the fulham players tell them. Neither the ref or the linesman saw it and only consulted  each other after the fulham players had gathered around him. They didnt see it so how can they give it.

I am not a chelsea fan but I feel they are hard done by regardless of whether it was handball or not.

The ref explained after the game that the linesman did see it. He buzzed the refs earpiece immediately.
