Please be aware that this competition does not start until Tuesday 19th July. A Couple of people turned up last week and no doubt a few more will do so this week.

There has been a lot of interest shown in this new competition and initial indications are that it will be heavily over-subscribed: The maximum players for this competition will be 50.

Competition Details:
10 No-Limit Hold-'Em with Limited Re-Buys
Registration between 6.30pm and 7.15
Competition Starts at 7.30pm
60 Minute Re-buy Period followed by a 20 minute clock.
Re-Buys limited to a maximum of 3 per person.
1000 points per Entry/Re-Buy/Add-On

This competition has a special payout structure(full details in club)

Between 6pm & 7pm on the 19th and again on the 26th, there will be a Training and Advice session for brand new players to the game.

I plan on supporting this tomorrow, its good to see things being pushed forward at Notts. Also may i comment that i thought having house dealers on the Sunday 50 pound rebuy was a successful trial. All dealers who's table i sat were good especially Adam (i believe was his name) who i thought was as good as any of our regular dealers and gained respect from the table for that.

Did the house provide dealers for last Sunday's 50 tourney ?

Yep it was a trial on Sunday for the 50 pounder. There was a rag fee of a fiver on then registration but we are paying that when we sit down to the dealer anyway. If it is considered to be a success it will be an ongoing thing on Sundays in the future.

Excellent night last night. Real friendly atmosphere and I'm sure loads of the new guys learnt loads last night (like not calling all in with gutshots!), as well as a few pople have go at dealing.

Maybe I'm biased though as I manged my first cash at Gala with a 5th place. Mainly thanks to Rob's dealing on the final table though!!
