As you know, blonde & many of you, have larged up this weekend's Triple Bill at Luton for a long time - it's a great mini-fessie. I actually said yesterday that this will compare to the £300 Monthly Freezeout at Walsall, currently just about the best scheduled, regular, Tourney in the UK.

Imagine my surprise when, in this morning's post, came a flyer for the £300 Freezeout at Walsall which will be held....this weekend!

I am sure it has been advertised in their schedule for some time, I just never saw it, & so has the Luton Triple Bill.

But holding these two comps on the same weekend will detract from BOTH of them. What a shame!

Luton & Walsall are two of the UK's best-run, & favourite, venues. Is there no way this clash could be avoided? Could Walsall possibly re-schedule, even at this late stage?

By the way, 425 have already applied to take the cameras to Luton, so although we like to cover the £300 Freeze at Walsall most months, we will not be able to on this occasion, assuming we get the green light from Luton.

I infer no criticism of Carmel at Luton, & Dani at Walsall, but it is a shame this has happened. A real "Solomon's baby" judgement!

Carmel quite rightly scheduled each of the three triple bill weekends to avoid festivals.

However, why no two Grosvenors seem to talk to each other is a mystery...the Vic and Luton often put on sizeable events that clash
