Hello and welcome back to the ACF as the Day 1 survivors check back in with a table redraw and a plan to play down to either 35 or 27, no one can quite agree which.  Good luck to all, especially the British and Irish contingent and those whom I have been following.....

There are 81 players remaining according to the very helpful sheet the ACF has provided.  We are also told where they are all seated - makes my job quite a bit easier.  Out of interest, Noah Boeken, Alex Kuzmin, El Blondie, Stuart Nash, Peter Heighway and Carlo are all on the same table.

Elvis senior being Bruce, right?  Slap in the middle in chips.  Sat with Roland de Wolfe.

Oh - they've just started.  I am going to catch the first hand of the day one of these days.  Off to take a peek at the short stacks.

El Blondie OUT - still not feeling well he took the inevitable double-up shot with pocket on the big blind raising Noah Boeken's button raise with 10 J.  The J appeared to knock him out.

Devilfish OUT - All-in pre-flop with the Q 9 of diamonds, he was called by 44 and although he picked up a flush draw on the flop he didn't improve.

Wow, barely enough time to pick up the notepad.

Andrew Black NOT OUT - (just testing) but he was all-in picking up 13,000 from the guy he dispatched.  He's now in the low 30ks.

Hi Jen,

you're doing a fantastic job in Paris just as you did at the World Series. Other blondeites may not know how good a player you are yourself though. You're far too modest to point out that you knocked Howard Lederer out of this event last year.

 Shocked

Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon,

Martin
