Just before break, Isabelle Mercier - OUT

She, short-stacked,  raised in the cutoff to 2000, the button re-raised to 6000 and she eventually called with A2off.  The button showed tens, and the ten on the river only clinched it.

What about Stuart Nash? Tricky guy to play against (current score 3 Nash 0 TightEnd)

He knocked me out of the William Hill Comp at the Gutshot 2 or 3 months ago. No great feat though  Cheesy

Ironside, don't forget there were two 2 rebuy comps that night and you were all beaten by a muppet in one of them  Roll Eyes

It was apparently the internet service provider's fault, so couldn't even grumble to the ACF...

Cheers MPower, it is very comfortable in here, with nice sofas to nap on when the computers go bust.  I have been saving up the stories, so here they come:

Firstly, Bruce Atkinson - he has around 46,000 after a (much earlier) lucky catch against Andrew Black.  Andy raised from the big blind with 9,3 and when he hit the flop got a  caller for all his money in Bruce who held 5,5.  The two-outer 5 on the river knocked Andy back to 18,000 but since then he has been working it back to around 30,000 now.

The biggest pot of the tourney happened while we were down (typical).  It was between Stephane Cohen and Patrick Selin (the Pokerroom MD) who were both sitting on nearly 50k.  Patrick raised preflop to 2,000, was reraised a further 7,000 and then just moved all-in over the top for 45,000.  No messing about.
After a dwell, Stephane called and showed KK to Patrick's AA (Roland, who related this story to me, passed AK).

Flop: Ah .  One of the was a heart...
Turn:
River:  10s   So the outdraw came in the form of runner runner straight... giving Patrick a stack over 100k.
