Rule 1

If you are a mad Liverpool supporter and therefore likely to drink after an FA cup final DO NOT PLAY POKER THAT NIGHT

Rule 2

When after several hours of talking to your two new found friends (absolut and smirnoff ) Do not decide that you have more moves than Gus Hanson and more cunning than Doyle Brunson, because you do not. Simply go to bed and await the bloody awfull hangover that will follow.

Rule 3

Do not go to the forum to post, as this means going to your laptop and switching it on. THIS IS A VERY BAD IDEA.

Rule 4

Do not convince yourself to open your poker room to see who on your buddy list is playing at 2am in the morning, so that you can discuss the game with them. This is totally pointless as you can hardly see the key board anyhow!!!!

Rule 5

Remember no matter how drunk you are you always can manage to find the call or raise buttons. You also have an amazing ability to to find the "more chips" icon.

Rule 6

NEVER BREAK RULES1-5 IN THE SAME NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

I dont know if this is true but i read in one of the magazines that a fairley big player sat down in a cash game with about £2k after a serious night out.

craziest table he's seen in a while so he sits tight and waits for he's hands.

he cashes out at around £50k

when he wakes up in the morning he notices that the money hasnt been deposited in he's account.

He phones up the site to investigate further and is informed that the only action he'd had last night was on the play for fun table!!
