You could always get a proper email address and domain name.

I bought www.wildaboutpoker.co.uk and use richie@wildaboutpoker.co.uk

I used letsgetpersonal.co.uk and they have been very good. I get no spam what so ever.

Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo etc are notoriously bad for spam.

Very funny      It is true.    I have twisted friends who like playing practical jokes. This is a perfect example of their jokes.

My only vices are gambling, wine gums and two day old curry sandwiches

Sark

If you got to options in hotmail - you can set the junk mail filter at the highest level - that way ONLY people in your address book or on your "safe list" will go straight to your inbox.

It just means checking your junk mail every now and then to make sure no-one you know has gone in there by accident.  It also means that you must remember to check your jumk mail also every time you give your email addy out to someone new.

Hope this helps.

I'd advise that next time you make sure you give your "friend" a different email address to the one you use for the regular email.

Then all your "dating" emails go to the one address leaving your regular address junk email free thumbs up

So how many "dates" did you end up with Huh?

Thanks, Trace and Matt.

I get about two or three offers each day.  But trust me, these are offers no sane person would want.  I am not sure if it is just my email address that is on the site  or actually my full details.  That is the worrying thing about it.  I asked my mate and he said " we were drunk, whats the big deal ".  I actually only found out I was on this site a few days ago while playing snooker. I was asking advice about all the spam I was getting and everyone started laughing. I knew at that point I had been set up.  He cant remember the access code for the site.

I was actually joined from my laptop. I left my laptop overnight at someones house because they needed to use WORD for a report.  I now have passwords protecting everything I do as a precaution. I have always been a "control freak" about giving out any details online, in street surveys or even to people I meet. That is the reason my friends are amused that I am on such a site. I prefer to be anonymous.

Is this why your avatar on blonde has now changed to a penguin - so that people on your swinging site dont see you on here to reveal what you really get upto behind closed doors?

lolololol

No matt.  I just wanted a change.  But now that you say it, it is probably just as well my pic has changed.  Naked...  no, I would know about that. I know every pic that has ever been taken off me. There aren't any naked ones amongst them.  Cheesy

lol

I am the most unlikely candidate for a swinger, trust me...lol.   I need to keep a squeaky clean image for the time when Pokerstars come along in a few years time with  " the offer ".  It pains me to know I am on a dodgy site.  I am going to play hardball with the guy concerned and use whatever means necessary to get the access codes. I am seeing him at a wedding this afternoon, so after it, I will get the codes. At least then I can delete myself

I finally managed to get the access codes to the dodgy site. My friend relented when the topic of an incident between himself and a office secretary was used in conjunction with " your wife doesn't have to find out ".  Cheesy

I have taken off all my details. Some of them were quite amusing actually due to the bizarre nature of some of my hobbies that they had listed for me.  My real name wasn't actually mentioned, just my email address.  The site said they will take off all my details and delete my full profile within 24 hours...  thank god.

No, it's because he keeps getting p-p-p-p-picked up.
